The Great Wall of Chop Suey

The definition for “Chop Suey” translates literally to “assorted pieces”. The Great Wall of Chop Suey gets its name from the way that it was built; by taking shards of broken pottery, glass, rocks large and small, entire mammoth-sized vases, and an assortment of various found objects including the tailgate to his brother’s old Ford from childhood.

The process of using cement in the construction of the wall has its own challenges, in that the quick curing time of the cement makes it a race against time to assemble the necessary objects where they belong.
